I like this song but it's not one of my favourites on her debut, great song but a bit boring. I actually love the Soulpower remix with Wanya Morris.

I like the remix way more than the album version. Either way, it's my least favorite single from her debut.

I like the remix way more than the album version. Same here. This was a much bigger hit than "Best Friend" which I thought was a great single too. "Brokenhearted" peaked at #9 on the Hot 100 compared to "Best Friend" peaking in the 30's. Where did "Brokenhearted" peak on the Billboard R&B chart?

The album version is horrible. I do like the remix though.

The album version was the best IMO!

The remix was the only reason I liked it. It's kinda boring now tho.

i think it's fairly blah, which is why it's not that remembered or gets much recurrent play. i never thought much of her voice until the last album anyway; she certainly does nothing impressive on this track.

For some strange reason, I think Monica would sound really good on this. But yeah, I like the Wanya duet way better.

Both versions are boring. The song hasn't held up either.

Soulpower mix is the jam -- the original is kinda bland. Peaked at #2 R&B.
