This is one of my favorite R&B songs from the 1990's. Written and produced by R. Kelly (if I recall correctly), it went all the way to #1 on the R&B chart.
I think the girls deliver the leave-your-man-cause-he-done-you-wrong message very effectively with their vocals. I can feel their pain and anger, particularly in the lines "no more talking save your lying for somebody else; keep on walking cause I can do bad all by myself." The way that chick deliver that line with such sassiness totally sold this song to me.
The song also has one of the catchiest hook ever. It makes you want to bob your head left and right (or back and forth) as you listen to this hot slow JAM!

One of my favorite songs of 1997! I LOVED this. Would have spent something like 10 weeks at #1 on my chart if I made one then.
I agree, it's super catchy. Both the hook and the overall piano loop are infectious as hell. Very laid back song, and this is R. Kelly production at its finest. These girls have great vocals too.

I loved it, nice song. It's their biggest hit but it's not my favourite single by them. This album was great.

their biggest hit, arguably (along with Stroke You Up)--- shows why this group is so underrated, perfect harmony and a really nice relaxed vibe, i love this duo.

I like this just fine, but "Stroke You Up" and "Foolin' Around" are by far my favorite Changing Faces singles.

This song brings back memories. The video was simple, right? I think they actually played it on VH1.

I loved this song from changing faces... It reminded me so much of "Be Careful" from Sparkle.

^ Exactly. Both songs had that sparse R. Kelly production style. I liked this one, but not quite as much as "Foolin' Around."

This song brings back memories. The video was simple, right? I think they actually played it on VH1. VH1 played the video on a show called "Number Ones," where various #1's on the Billboard charts were played every week. VH1 played the video the week it hit #1 on the R&B chart! That's how I came to know this song.
