Most of their singles were built off heavy samples, this one included. "Mind Playing Tricks On Me" samples no other then "Hung Up on My Baby" by Issac Hayes. The sample is definitely the backbone of this record because it's hot but Scarface and them are pretty good rappers too. This is their one and only crossover hit that it swept all three formats becoming a #1 Rap hit in the end.

Solid... Rap classic. But I do have to admit that I hated this song when I first heard it. It took some time to grow on me.
