I love it. Very different for Nelly and very sultry. Love the vibe.

Holly sh*t, she's Fergie :\

It reminds me more of Prince protege material than Fergie. It's not like Fergie was the first female to do classic 80's style rap.

I like this a lot! This is about as different as Folklore as you can get, but the common thead is that it's mellow like that. The chorus is so instant! Those bell thiings remind me a little of classic 80's Janet Jackson, but more solid since it's more modern. Timbaland can't go wrong! Holly sh*t, she's Fergie :\ Fergie? I don't even think Fergie has her own style. Nelly rhymed long before Fergie's one novelty "rap" song. Remember the "Get Ur Freak On" remix?

I actually don't, but I was referring to how much her parts sound like Fergie's in "My Humps," right down to the beat.

I actually don't, but I was referring to how much her parts sound like Fergie's in "My Humps," right down to the beat. This sounds far more fresh and innovative than "My Humps." I don't see any resemblance.

My point was that "My Humps" wasn't original at all and the only place you can really be coming from is that it has that spoken rapping. There is SO MUCH spoken rap. That pretty much was a pretty large part of 80's and early 90's rap. The production is a mix between mid-80's Prince and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. If Fergie was doing anything that sounds like this, she was copying that sound. Nelly Furtado has no reason to copy Fergie.

I love this track. The chorus is definitely the highlight and really stands out. The verses aren't as strong but still carrry the flow of the song. It doesn't remind me of "My Humps" though. The Steve Nash MVP mention was nice LOL.

I liked this song on first listen, but now I love it. The beat is so hot. It's like a classic 90's Timbaland R&B track, except the drum beat makes it harder and the 80's synth adds a Pop element. It's an awesome mix of elements.
I wonder what this song would have been like if Aaliyah sang it. She totally would have been great for this.

I just love this song!
I love the lyrics, the beats, the hook, Nelly's vocals. Everything. This would make a great 2nd or 3rd single. Maybe as a 3rd single because this could be huge over the summer.

I love the lyrics, the beats, the hook, Nelly's vocals. Everything. Me too. I think Nelly's voice on this song is perfect for it. At first I preferred Maneater but I now prefer this one.

I don't know why I didn't realize this sooner, but now the verses are reminding me sooo much of LL Cool J's "Doin' It"

They changed the lead single. A month ago, I thought "Man Eater" was a better lead single. Now I think this has WAY more radio potential though.

I'm really sad about this. I still think "Man Eater" would be a hit.
