This is really horrible. You can't even hear her. That whole monotone thing she has been doing with her vocals for the last few albums needs to stop. She sounds okay live when she stands there and stuff. She needs to stop singing about sex. It's so nasty and desperate. This song screams, "I'm and over-the-hill-almost-in-the-ground woman who needs to sing about her sex life to get any attention."

I like this. This is not her first time trying in the U.S. Remember that hot mess of a song that was called "China Wine" where she looked like an Asian video ho in the music video? It did nothing, but there was no promotion and whatnot. Sun has been pretty successful in the clubs. She has had several number ones on the Club Play chart.

It sounds okay, but it's just so generic and blah. It will probably be huge internationally but in the U.S., the Dance charts are only where this has a shot. And given that the Dance Radio Airplay panel just lost one of the big stations which was a huge Madonna supporter, it may struggle to do well there. I wonder if it will be able to go Top 1000 at CHR

This is his latest single. It has vocals on it. This one is a partial remake as it has some samples from Gary Numan's "Cars" which Armand Van Helden sampled in his early 2000's hit "Koochy." The sample feels really out of place in the song. www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZqPIfVG10Y

What are they thinking sending it for adds so soon? "Obsessed" is still growing. They need to wait until at least the end of September. But they should not send this as a single in the U.S. EVER. "H.A.T.E.U." or "Candy Bling" would be better choices.

The music video is hilariously bad. It makes "Jump", "Give It 2 Me", or even that 'flag' video of "American Life" look like masterpieces. ripping off Gaga for the video... I dunno. It's more Roisin Murphy. Then again, Gaga's 'inspiration' is Roisin Murphy. Look no further.

Eek. This is all kinds of wrong. The title instantly reminded me of "Get It Out Me." At least that was hot.

In terms of the vocals, it met and exceeded my expectations. But overall, it feels like something is missing. It feels like it should be like 1 minute longer. I felt the same way about the album version of "We Belong Together." I was glad that longer version which was similar to the live version leaked.

Tony Moran and Junior Vasquez completed additional mixes for this. No word on whether those will be released. Junior played a hot mashup of this song that uses the instrumental from his of "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" mix at his event over the weekend.
In other news, Johnny Vicious is working on "I Look To You" while the Freemasons are doing "Million Dollar Bill."

Stonebridge had also remixed this, however, the remix was not accepted so it won't be released.

Remixes by Peter Rauhofer and Daddy's Groove were digitally delivered yesterday. A special megamix of some of Whitney's hits was sent out as well. Jody Den Broeder and Warren Rigg did the megamix.
A remix package for "Million Dollar Bill" is in the works at this time.

I like this, I just wish the instrumental was a little bit harder. I heard part of a remix, the song sounds intact, but the instrumental was a bit edgier. Does anyone know which remix that is? It's probably the Benassi one. The Oakenfold Dub is a little closer to the original. Pete Tong played the Benassi one earlier today.

I like the production on Cahill's mix. The vocals feel a little strange at that tempo, but it's fine. Seamus Haji & Paul Emanuel's is their usual. I like the production on the Friscia & Lamboy one, but the vocals just don't sound right slowed down.

I like this song. It's not groundbreaking, but this would be hot on a dancefloor.
By the way, this is for sale on Masterbeat.com right now.

I felt the remastering on Immaculate Collection wasn't good. The levels were a bit too high. It has been said that for the versions of "Like A Prayer", "Into The Groove", "Express Yourself" and "Vogue" which will be on this CD are the same ones that were on Immaculate Collection.
In order to make it appealing, they need to include the hit single versions.

They must know that Celebration will be a flop if they already have plans to release the next single less than a month later. The label is in a rush to get the project out there so the era will be done quickly and then they won't have to deal with Madonna anymore. I mean, how much will the collection actually sell? Most Madonna fans probably have all the albums. Maybe some casual fans will get this just to have the essentials. When all is said and done, I think the collection will have sold about 8 to 10,000 copies at most.

No, it won't help airplay and even if they go on sale, they won't help sales either. The Dance radio format stations usually play Mariah's singles in remixed form. It can make a small difference. Every little bit of AI is necessary. Sales-wise, the release of the remixes only helps a little. Not enough to do anything major.

Just heard the clip. It sounds promising. But it won't do much in the U.S. outside of the clubs, if the label even promotes it there. "Miles Away" didn't get to number 1 on the Club Play chart the way most of her other singles usually do. Interestingly, the label didn't promote it at all and it ended up peaking at number 2.
