Aside from the haters in these boards, I don't think they're receiving negative backlash. The album has been received very well by the critics that are usually very harsh when it comes to their genre.
I think I'm gonna give the album another chance now that this has grown on me.

Boring choice from one hell of an overrated album. I can see why critics are supporting, but I just can't get into them anymore.

so yeah. MTV is playing it. Quite different from "Here I Stand". Its screamy pop/punk that reminds me of Taking Back Sunday's "MakeDamnSure".

It goes for adds in January. it sounds like a Christian Rock song to me but their image...is not so Christian. The chorus is quite memorable. www.purevolume.com/madinalakeEDIT: House of Cards is now their single.

I want the Get Up Kids back. A lot of good bands died in 2005, Get Up Kids were one of them.

It seems more like a Tenacious D song during the verses. LMAO. I like this. I can't wait to see what they come up with for the video. Apparently, they are looking for an Antler boy 'look-a-like' for their video. It was posted on their website.

Scenester song as I expected. MTV reported this about the song:
They suck live sometimes during TV appearances so I'm going to expect a big mess out of that performance.

mms://66.186.0.101/allaccess/liviwake.wmaI'm surprised VH1 has added this to their playlist. They have a very punk image you would normally see in a channel like Fuse or MTV2. Nonetheless, the song does sound kinda 90s so that must be why.

I love the song because its very "anthemic". His voice does annoy but the whole song is still good.
