mms://66.186.0.101/allaccess/jackthem.wmaOne Tree Hill revived a former flop in 2004 and now they're attempting to do it again. This is the lead single from version two of the soundtrack to the television series. This song already flopped last year, but it's being re-released with a brand new video to promote the soundtrack. Will it be a repeat of "I Don't Want To Be"? I say no. This song isn't nearly as good or catchy! I wouldn't mind it being a hit though. It's nice. It just doesn't stand out. It'll fit right in with Fall Out Boy and All-American Rejects.

I still haven't heard this, but I'd like to. I remember reading about this in EW a few months ago. This guy is currently battling cancer and if I recall correctly, he wrote this song about how music can be uplifting even in the most trying situations.

This is the lead singer from Something Cooperate. My alternative station back at home has been playing this song for months. I really like it.

Good thing they are making a new video for this, the first one reminded me too much of those cheap PBS shows like Reading Rainbow.

I finally heard this today. I like it a lot. It's like prep rock and it has a California vibe which is usually all it takes to win me over. The chords right after each chorus are the highlight for me. Really catchy. I hope this is a slow burner because it'd be a perfect addition to our summer soundtracks!

So did this already completely flop or is there still promo coming? I seriously think if they waited close to summer this could do more.

It flopped a second time. Thanks. I'm not giving up yet though! I've seen songs like "Collide," "You're Beautiful," "Cable Car," and "Bad Day" take up to a year to break out sometimes. I guess the difference here is this song doesn't have another format to slowly grow at and crossover from, since Alt was done with this song long ago.

This is really good, I like the diversity and the different elements involved in this song. The chorus is really catchy but at the same time is not like a boring repetitive thing.

"I'm Ready" and "Into the Airwaves" from his album are also very radio friendly, something pop radio has been missing out on.

I think I'll pick up this album.... I seriously have been looking for the perfect summer beach type rock-pop album forever, and this could be it.

It's happened again, first listen to "The Mixed Tape" and I thought it was "nothing special, but not horrible."
So I saw these other two songs recommended and decided to give them a try. So I decided to give "The Mixed Tape" another try and liked it right away. Weird, but it happens a lot.
Were the other two also singles?

"The Mixed Tape" has been a single since last summer. And never caught on. Really, this song sounds like a smash.

I just bought his album. I'm about halfway through. It's EXCELLENT. This album has so much potential, shame it never got noticed. I almost wish I found this album about 3 months from now in which case it would have gone on to become my summer soundtrack.
BUY IT PEOPLE!

My friend has it (which is the main reason I gave these songs a chance) and so I think I'll try to hold off a month then check it out.

I've now owned this album for exactly one week and I must have played it about 20 times already.

I'm so happy to live in a town where my local CHR plays this about 30 times a week <3.

#11 on the VH1 Countdown. That's pretty nice. I would say I hope that's enough to give the song a new burst of radio life just in time for summer, but I know better. Even still, I'm glad this is getting new play somewhere.

Goes for adds again on June 6. lol, thats funny. But I'm happy its getting another chance. His second single needs to go for adds on Alternative already. I'm guessing its going to be "Dark Blue" since he performed that on One Tree Hill but I'm not sure.

The lead singer's voice is ever so annoying!
#6 on VH1's sh*tty excuse.
