It may not be impossible for this to make #1 at CHR. It'll be hard, but I'm keeping my hopes up. If Justin's bullet falls and Nelly stabilizes, she could still make it next week, but it will be her last chance.

This is now handily beating Beyonce and Justin as with the #1 audience at CHR. That has to count for something, right?
Anyway, this is now about 130 spins from overtaking "Irreplaceable" at the top. The question is whether this will be a "My Happy Ending" deal where it hits #1 during the week but can't hold on for the final update, or whether it can last until Sunday night. The way things are looking right now, the latter is certainly still within the realm of possibility.
If this DOES hit #1, it will be the best #1 of the decade. Anyone agree?

I don't know if I'd go that far. I'm not a fan of most Britney music, but Toxic was an amazing song. Anyway, it will surely be one of the best if it does reach the top spot.

It would be great if this reached #1, it's definitely my favourite single from "Loose" so far, and up with her finest work IMO. The single charted at 37 in the UK on downloads on Sunday and isn't out until the start of March so has definite potential to become her 4th Top 5 hit from "Loose".

I think Nelly and Timbo may have created one of the most easily playable songs ever.
I've played this song 281 times on my iTunes, I've had it as my ringtone for over 3 months, I hear it pop up on the radio and on MTV/VH1 every now and then, and yet I can still play the damn song like it's the first time I'm listening to it.
Anyway, I actually think a #1 on CHR/Pop is looking pretty good for this. And I actually think there's a chance she can get a #1 on the Hot 100 next week, if Beyonce falls a little faster and Nelly's sales keep up.

I'm hearing this song everywhere on my campus. Last week, this girl's cellphone just started ringing out of nowhere in class. Guess what the ringtone was. "Oh you don't mean nothing at all to meeeee." Then today in lab, another person started singing this out loud for everyone to hear. It makes me so proud of SIR and Nelly. Get that public adoration Ms. Furtado!

Yeah, hearing people sing about this song or talk about how much they love it makes me so happy. I still don't realize what a huge hit it is, but then in digital photography class someone goes on iTunes and starts playing the 30-second clip out of nowhere. It's great.
I also can play the song like I haven't been banging the hell out of it for the past 3 months. Just a great, great song and it's nice to see records this awesome having such success.

This should be #1 by the end of the day, and if Justin's bullet keeps falling, it should stay there at least through Sunday.
THREE HOURS LATER: Next update, this will be #1. And it's looking like it will stay that way through the final update. I'm at a loss for words.

I have to admit that when I first listened to the album last year, this was NOT one of the songs that stood out for me. I remember liking "showtime" (in fact, I voted for showtime as my favourite song off the album in the soundscan poll).
My opinions have definitely changed since then, "Say it Right" is HOT and easily my favourite track off the album.

I really hope "Say It Right" reaches #1 on the hot100. Otherwise, it would be go down in history in the long list of songs that should've went to #1, but fell short.

^^^It's gonna be hard to hit #1 on the Hot 100 though. Not when You-Know-Who is hogging the #1 slot and Nelly's sales are falling. If it happens (by some slim chance), that'll be a cause for celebration!

I believe Nelly's supposed to be on CSI: New York tonight. I know it's probably not going happen but I would love it if they played Say It Right and her downloads spiked.

Ah! Dang, I don't think I've ever wanted a song to hit #1 so badly.
She's performing on Ellen's Grammy Show on Monday so hopefully that'll help downloads as well.

"Promiscuous" was used in the opening for CSI: NY tonight. I didn't stick around for the whole thing, but I imagine SIR will get used at some point as well. Should give it a nice download boost.

The worst spots to peak on the Hot 100 are #2, #6 and #11 because you're not #1, in the top 5 or top 10. It looks like this awesome song is gonna peak at #2.

I heard "ManEater" in the opening and then "All Good Things" at the very end, it sounded perfect with the scene. But no "Promiscuous".
