Can someone compare SIR's airplay/sales to Irreplaceable's airplay/sales? I want to know how much audience impression Nelly needs to nail that #1 spot.

Hmmm.....There's about 12.5 million separating them, which means a #1 is not completely out of reach for Nelly. She just needs to sell 6,000-7,000 more digital singles than the other song!

This is doing great across the board now. It's Top 10 at Rhythmic and still gaining strong. It's up to #13 at Hot AC with one of the biggest bullets on the chart. It's really nice to see Hot AC welcoming her back.

Never in a million years did I expect this to hit #1. There were so many odds against it. BUT LOOK AT WHAT IT'S DONE! This is definitely the little song that could achieve BIG things. GO NELLY! And now, let's bring out the Bacardi and celebrate!    |

This is amazing news and so unexpected. I remember being worried that it wouldn't even do well on radio, let alone downloads, because it didn't have a typical verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge-chorus formula. Everything about the song is amazing - the beat, the ethereal feel, the vocals, the lyrics...best and most deserved number one in a long time.
I might be speaking too soon, but I wouldn't be shocked if she had four number ones to her name by the time the era is finished.
