This is really hot though...its good for the time of year that is coming up, too. I wouldnt be shocked if it was a hit, since most people are saying it will bomb. Maybe radio just didnt get Maneater, and compared to Promiscuous it just paled 10000 times and couldn't live up, especially being another "club" song produced by Tim, etc. Say It Right goes way left of that sound and formula, so maybe thats what radio was looking for all along after playing Promiscuous to death.

well maybe "Maneater" is a "club" song just like "Promiscuous" but that's the only similarity they have....there's no excuse for radio not giving it the proper airlplay...

Yea but maybe radio was tired of overplaying Promiscuous and they found Maneater to be too much in the same sort of vein and weren't feeling it.

But the general public responded very well to "Maneater," and radio refused to give it it's dues. There's no excuse for that.

Besides if you say that radio was so tired of playing "Promiscuous" then they should really have played "Maneater" 'cause it's really different and sounds awesome on the radio.

The perfect Winter single. I will forever associate this song with summer since Losse was basically one of my soundtracks at the shore this summer, but I can see the appeal of the song going into this time of year. |

I really like this, but am so confused by what's been going on with her singles that I can't be sure this can hit. Looks okay for now, though, but so did "Maneater" at this point...

I hope there is an amazing video for this song; i love this song so much. I am very angry this song is cutting into Man Eater spins; i would even wish for them to send the remix to rhythmic and Urban and i-tunes just to salvage this songs chance at getting top 10 on the Hot 100.

It was really frurstrating seeing Maneater flop like it did, especially when we all knew that it could have been partially prevented had the label woken up and sent the song for adds months ago. It's a killer single and I thought it was pretty much a default hit. Blah.
I hope this does well because it is also brilliant. They're doing really wellwith the single releases from this album - I love all 4.
