I really hope this is the next single. It's so different for her and kind of takes a 2000 sound and makes it relevant for 2006.
I'm thinking this is definitely the next international single, but it needs to be the next US single too.

Yeah, they should release this one next IMO. It definately seems to be a fan favorite.
I think it could end up being one of the biggest hits of her career.

This is the US single too. Beyonce did a chat and she said it was the SECOND single. (ROTFL @ her not counting "Deja Vu" as a single.)

Maybe she meant the 2nd international single? The person said "have you thought of your third and forth singles" and Beyonce responded with "I am about to shoot the video for 'Irreplaceable.' It is the second single."

I think this is going to be Beyonce's "Unpretty" in that it will take her to a whole new audience and be huge for her, but at the expense of her Urban core.

I really like the lyrics, especially: "and keep talking that mess, that's fine but could you walk and talk at the same time"

I wish they didn't censor the songs on this album. Cause on this she says
"In the closet--that's my stuff Yes, if I bought it NIGGA please don't touch!"

I think this is going to be Beyonce's "Unpretty" in that it will take her to a whole new audience and be huge for her, but at the expense of her Urban core. But what "whole new audience"? lol...she's arguably the most massive female music artist on the face of the globe today. It's not like she's an Urban-only artist. Pop and white folks are in love with her, and have been for years now. That's a huge segment of her audience. Everyone knows who Beyonce is so I dont know what new audience there is to tackle.

But what "whole new audience"? Pop and white folks are in love with her, and have been for years now. I never said white people don't know who she is and don't like her. But this is the type of song that even middle-aged people who are into pure Pop and maybe even HAC can get into. This can make fans out of people who aren't into songs like "Check On It" and "Baby Boy," in the very same way "Unpretty" brought the already world-famous TLC to new audiences who maybe weren't so into "No Scrubs" and "Creep."

I do think this has potential to blow up big, "Unpretty" is a good model--- it has just enough edge to still get (some) Urban/Rhythmic play while being mainly a Pop song.
