I just realized this stupid ho is 37. Shocking...I remember when she was so upset about turning 30 during the Return of Saturn era. It makes me want another No Doubt album so much more...

I dont get the whole Fergie/Gwen debate, there both singers and one of them is OBVIOUSLY more talented in that department. Someone mentioned that Gwen is overrated, but the good folks at the Grammy Awards werent jocking her.

geez-us could they have held it off just a little? at least this way it hopefully will never hit #1?
usually i say i don't listen to a lot of these songs that end up being really popular b/c i think they're crap, but in the end i actually do listen to them--- but not this one. i've been trying to make myself listen and i honestly can't sit through the whole thing. i usually die somewhere around the (awful) line, "you've got to make- the beat- get..." whatever.

The remix will probably sample a song from Oklahoma!

This song is just further proving to me that veteran aritsts just don't release good music anymore. Let' wait for 2007.

This song is just further proving to me that veteran aritsts just don't release good music anymore. Let' wait for 2007. Yeah, seriously. It's like they have to choose "should I try to stay relevant and relase crap?" or "should I make music that I know is good and just flop but keep my dignity." Last year Gwen was able to balance the two, but this year...

I wouldn't say that personally I find veteran artists more likely to release solid music than newer/ less established artists. I admit Gwen f**ked up with this song but I wouldn't say it is absolute proof veterean artists can't make good music.

What I was saying is this year, it seems the veteran artists who make good music flop. Not that they can't make good music. Last year was a different story... Mariah, Green Day, Weezer, U2, etc... and Gwen

Well you do have to take in account that Gwen is in her 30's and she is very much an in the moment, flashy gimmicky person. Unfortunately for her time isn't on her side to rack up those hits since she started a solo career so late. I can understand even if I don't like her ways of trying to keep relevant.

I've been hearing this on the radio the past few days, on the URBAN station no less It's actually so weird that its CATCHY, the marching band part is stuck in my head... I would never be caught DEAD mimicking the yodelling part but its actually fun/quirky to listen to. Also, the Neptunes beat is hot. But it reminds me of a ripoff of the 'Milkshake' beat. I hope this is a hit, and cant WAIT to see the video.

There's a risk of this flopping at radio without download hype.

Her album's coming out in a month, she probably wants a simultaneous #1 single and album.

The remix will probably sample a song from Oklahoma! I really hope there is a remix. "What You Waiting For" and "Luxurious" had great remixes, so hopefully this gets one too. I actually think this would be a lot more tolerable without the sample.
