With the exception of the Spanish songs and "Do It," I think "Glow" would have been the weakest single choice on the album. It's catchy and it's a good song... but it's also like 70's funk music and way too left of center for Pop radio.

All Good Things wasn't a bad choice. Its an amazing song and one of the best on the album. I think they should have sent the UK Mix to radio though. Its what made the song go #1 all over in Europe.

9 adds this week. Biggest market out of that group is New Orleans. Uh... Suddenly things aren't looking so good for this one.

LOL. I never thought this was a good single choice, but I don't think there are many left.. maybe "Showtime" but that's about it.

This is such a MEGA FLOP, what a horrid decision making this the single, coming off such a smash hit. It's obvious they all had a hard-on for this song though, it was talked about from before the album was even released. So it's no surprise it was released just...a dumb one. I wouldn't call this a "MEGA FLOP" or a dumb choice to release. It's the biggest hit of her entire career in Europe, where she's had many hits. It's got an accessible beat, relatable lyrics, and a catchy hook. It cultivates her core fan base better than any other song on the album, and at the very least her original fans deserve one single from this era. There are many positive reasons to support the case of this as a single. If it flops, I blame radio which has horrible standards again lately... not the song. But we don't know anything yet so we'll have to wait and see.

I think she'd be better off pushing this at HAC and hoping it crosses over.

If this song flops it means it was just too damn good for radio. That is my reasoning and I'm sticking with it to the end.

Wow, I really didn't expect that after "Say It Right" and how big this song has been on radio everywhere else in the world. I have to agree,

yes the song is fantastic and there should be no reason for this to flop!!!

Even if this does end up flopping, they won't end this era. Say It Right was just too big. I wonder what song they'll follow this up with. I think Afraid would be the best choice.

Now that I think about , Glow seems pretty fit for summer. But they would HAVE to keep the last 30 or so seconds of it intact for the radio edit. The ending is so good!

she has basically no loss even if this ceased to get ANY airplay starting tomorrow, since it was already released in Europe and was a big hit, she may as well release it here.
I think "Afraid" would be a terrible choice though; I love "Glow" but not sure how it'll come off on radio.

They need to send the other damn radio mix out. It really does make all the difference.

Oh my. I don't know if it's completely done yet, but this may not even chart. That's not good, especially coming off SIR. As far as next singles go...who knows. "Glow" reminds me of "Maneater"...maybe "Afraid"? "Wait For You"?
BTW, for those of you registered at All Access, the "Adds" section under Mediabase updates every Tuesday and might give you a general idea of the number of adds a record will pull in according to R&R. That's where I got the figure I posted last night.
