"I'm With You" and "Nobody's Home" were my favorites from her first and second albums, so if this follows that blueprint, this will likely be the same.

This is really nice, but not as STELLAR as her other ballads. Maybe it'll grow on me.

I liek it. Sounds like the type of song to be featured on like a WB sitcom earlier in the season. That kind of catchy youthful pop-rock light sound... almost like The Matrix.

I was going to point out that "I'm With You" was the third single, but then I remembered that "Keep Holding On" wasn't technically from the album (kinda reminds me of the whole Kelly Breakaway debate, though I guess KHO wasn't as big in the US as in Canada) |

Yeah- they probably saw how well KHO is doing as a semi-single so figured a ballad with full single promo would do even better. The problem is many PD's may view KHO as the lead single in which case it'd be a relative flop for an Avril lead single. I mean- I use the fact that "Girlfriend" is not doing much pre-impact at ALL despite being a lead single that debuted at #5 on the Hot 100. It's not getting lead single -> automatic add treatment at all as of yet. |

This is a nice song. Overall I like it. However, her vocals are HORRIBLE, especially on the verses. She sounds whiney, off pitch, and has horrible projection. I'll be able to get used to it and end up enjoying the song, but like, really poor vocal performance.
The chorus and music is really nice though. Don't like it as much as "I'm With You" or "Nobody's Home" but it'll definitely give a fix for people who want more of that type of song.
As far as chart success, I predict around #6 Pop- which is basically in between the success levels of the token big ballads from her debut and sophomore eras.
