I wish it could have been more professional, but it's hot rock remix anyway.

Yeah, for an officially sanctioned remix, it isn't of the highest quality.

This is headed towards #1 on all the three formats I will still be shocked if this goes #1 Urban.

I never thought about it before, but this is the kind of song that is just screaming to be @ss-raped by Kidz Bop.

The Ultimate "Umbrella" Remix Guide Everybody is trying to get a piece of Rihanna's "Umbrella," which increasingly looks like a lock for Song of the Summer. We already told you about Lil Mama's emo remix and Chris Brown's shameless take, and the flood keeps coming. There are surely dozens of homemade mash-ups and cookie-cutter dance mixes of "Umbrella" out there by now, but are any of them actually worth listening to? We went on a quest to find the best bandwagon jumpers and came across some legitimate alternatives—including one "Umbrella" mix that just might trump the original... "Umbrella" (ABX Cyborg Umbrella Remix) This mash-up throws out the instrumental we all know and love, replacing it with loops and noise from indie-rockers Menomena and M83. Considering the amount of risk involved with such a radical reinvention, it doesn't completely strike out—the spacey chorus sounds like it's literally blasting Rihanna's alien croon into the stratosphere. And at just a minute and a half, it doesn't wear out its welcome. >> Listen to the track here. "Umbrella" (Travis Barker Remix) The former Blink 182 drummer and go-to guy for rap-rock collaborations predictably adds his own punky skills to the mix, filling in the song's spaces with quicksilver snare flourishes and adding real-life guitars. It spells out "Umbrella"'s rock & roll bent in capital letters, and the smash loses little potency in the process. >> Listen to the track here. "Umbrella" (Zax Extended Mix) Easily our favorite remix because it doesn't remix as much as it simply expands—it's like a director's cut that's as good (if not better) than the original flick. The beat doesn't change, it's just given some more room to breathe. And, although this version lasts nearly six minutes, Jay-Z's wack opening verse is completely eliminated. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner. >> Listen to the track here. www.blender.com/news/index.aspx

I've just heard the version with Chris Brown's "Cinderella" part in for the first time (ahh, to be at the forefront of music) on the radio and it works really well. One thing though, Brown's voice sounds like it's been vocordered

^Definately. Chris Brown's voice sounds soooo processed in the remix, it ruins it for me.

His voice always sounds terrible to me. I think it's because his balls haven't dropped yet.

I think this is going to be number one for a couple more weeks, and will end up with the most weeks at number one for the summer.

I wouldn't be suprised if this didn't have the most weeks at #1 for the year, unless Usher or should I say Mooriah beat it.
