If we get a fourth single, I would prefer "Walcott" or "M79" to get a release. Covers are good, but they make decent B-sides and those two NEED to be released into the public consciousness.

A new song "Ottoman" is floating around on the internet! Edit- should have read Will's post up the page. Oh well, it's leaked now anyways.

Tell me "A-Punk" isn't being re-released as the next single. Ugh, what a mess.

Oh yeah, "Everywhere" and "Ottoman" are both great.

Tell me "A-Punk" isn't being re-released as the next single. Ugh, what a mess. It's being re-released as a download only single on 27 October, and has been playlisted again at Radio 1 on their C-list. RELEASE WALCOTT YOU NUMBNUTS!

"Everywhere" is one of my most listened to songs of the week. LOVE it.

Apparently, Travis McCoy of legendary hitmakers Gym Clas Heroes is sitting high on his platform where he can belittle less talented groups like Vampire Weekend:

^ I really like like "Cookie Jar" and "Cupid's Chokehold." But GCH haven't put together an album as strong as Vampire Weekend. Once they do, maybe I'll consider listening to him.
In other news, NME rated "Everywhere" the #1 cover of 2008.

Yeah, they've been doing "White Sky" on tour for over a year now - I wonder if it'll actually make the next album...they were saying that it's probably going to sound a lot different than the first.

Ummm...
They can't do that.
Camera Obscura > Vampire Weekend

They told Rolling Stone that the new album will maintain their Afropop influence while also doing the SoCal sound... weird because I can't see these two sounds mixing...

I think it can. It's not like Afropop mixed with New "England College Campus" sounds less strange.
