This went to #1 at Pop in summer of 2001. What the hell? Yeah boybands were still all over Pop radio then, but this act was flopping and then this boring bland forgettable ballad came out of nowhere and blew up. I still don't get it.

I liked it at the time. Hasn't held up for me.

I've always liked this song. Still kinda like it, though I agree that it hasn't held up that well.

It's a nice ballad. I believe it was nominated for a radio music award that year for Top 40 record of the year.

Wow, this went #1? Yuck. I'm ashamed to say that I attended a free concert these guys put on in the Savannah Mall parking lot that summer, and this was their encore.
Don't laugh at me, okay? I was 10 and didn't know any better.

FWIW, I've seen Avril Lavigne (during her first album era when she was an immature little punk, before she recorded a couple of quality songs for Under My Skin) and Sean Desman live twice each...all of them for free. And I was 18 and DID know better.

My first concert was Milli Vanilli. This song is cheese-tastic.
