this is blowing up at Alternatine and on iTunes. I see Glee covered it too. What is this and where is it coming from?

I love fun. They do have a decent indie following ("All the Pretty Girls" was their big song on their last album) but they're really a love them or hate them kind of band. Their singer was in The Format, but I think they're on a major label now and we're seeing success on account of Glee Happy to see this doing well, it's a nice song. They have a tendency to be a little on the annoying side, but it's toned down here. "Walking The Dog" is my favorite single by them and a good example of that

Pretty sure the only reason it's blowing up is Glee, but that show helped be discover it too, so that makes sense. I really, really like this.

Great song. I heard it on Glee, but this is truly a great song.

This song is nice but it sounds like the 2008 preppy-acting-hipster sound. It's the type of song that's really great by radio standards but boring for iPod standards.

Such an odd iTunes #1. Crazy how much one 30 second commercial has done for this song.

There's been buzz around this song for a few months, with the Glee episode and it making moves at radio. The SB commercial was that final push over the edge.
Granted it was a gigantic push, lol. But there's no doubt in my mind this was destined to be a huge hit. The freaking chorus, jesus.

KIIS is well. This is likely going to leap into the Top 10 of the Hot 100 this week. I wish Gotye was getting this attention instead

Three of the Top 5 songs at Alternative right now are Gotye, fun., and Awolnation. So bizarre, but awesome.

#1 on the Hot 100. I can see this being a monster #1. Seems like it will continue to expose itself to new demographics as it grows. Good for the song, but I hope it isn't at the expense of "Rumor Has It" or "Somebody That I Used to Know."

Looks like this year's "Rolling In The Deep." I really like this song and I'm glad Pop radio is embracing it, but I can tell that I'll find it nauseating two months from now.

I kind of already find it nauseating... I never bought into the hype of this in the first place, I guess. Like I see that it's different, but... different isn't always good...

This is so overrated. I find it cringingly corny.

Does anyone else hate this guy's voice? I like the song, but I have to listen to the Glee cover over this because I find his voice grating.
