I absolutely love this song. There's a video for it, and it's a single overseas. So I guess this should go in the International singles forum... but since it's just an album track in the states, I figured I could post it here.
I don't know why B&S haven't really caught on in the states. They're an absolutely incredibly talented group of musicians and Stuart is an amazing lyricist. This song is so incredibly fun but I guess it doesn't really fit in anywhere on radio now. It's like... perfectly pop, which would probably be considered alternative now, but isn't "alternative enough" to be alternative. It's been that way for a while... they were indie darlings for like 3 or 4 years and then with "Dear Catastrophe Waitress" they got a little too pop for the indie crowd and pretty much got the shaft. I'm glad they didn't do a 180 and go back to their somewhat darker and more melancholy beginnings. As good as those albums were (I was a fan of them when they came out 5 or 6 years ago and I'm still a fan of them today), I really like where they're going and it always excites me to hear what they have to bring to the table.
Anyway... I definitley recommend "The Life's Pursuit" to anyone looking for the latest in a great string of albums by B&S.

I really like this song. And I agree, B&S should be bigger here than they are. Even though they're not huge, they definately have a devoted following here in the states though.

I listened to their album at the record store without knowing who they were. I liked it what I heard so I'll probably buy it if its cheap.
