Goes for adds next week. I'm confused. I thought "Supermassive Black hole" was their new single.

For some reason, they switched US singles. "Supermassive Black Hole" is released the 19th in the UK, but I'm pretty sure "Knights of Cydonia" is already getting airplay there as well.
I haven't even listened to the new album yet. I'm too scared too. haha I'm MASSIVELY dissappointed with "Supermassive Black Hole," and I just don't want to be let down.

"Supermassive" is the first single in the UK, but they announced last week they are going with the slightly more traditional "Knights of Cydonia" for the first US single.
This is good, but a very different song. Not as catchy, but sounds more like Muse's old stuff. I don't know why they thought "Supermassive" wouldn't be the best choice in the US.

Okay, this is REALLY good. Certainly better than "Supermassively Crappy."

I don't know why, but the melodies in the beginning of this song remind me of old Nintendo games, specifically the Legend of Zelda.

I like this but they should've gone with "Supermassive Black Hole" as the first single here. It's more radio-friendly.

This video is the biggest pile of sh*t I have ever seen! HORRIBLE! Sorry Muse, but you just lost your title of my 3rd favorite band.

I actually like the video. It's completely absurd, but it works.

I seriously thought the beginning was an ad for cotton.

I like this more than "Time Is Running Out", which wasn't a bad song in itself. Hopefully, this can go at least Top 15. And the video is pretty cool, too.

This is good but i like all their singles from their last album better than this. I'm surprised this is doing so well on Alternative. What's their biggest hit (highest peak) on Alternative?

Haha, i actually like the video. Like someone said, it's absurd, but it really works. I love this song now and am actually surprised by the success of it. It isn't radio-friendly at all. It sounds like one of those awesome album tracks.

Yeah, I'm really shocked by the success of this. I guess Muse's following in the US has become strong enough for this to become a hit. This is an awesome song, and it would certainly be interesting if this ended up outpeaking "Time Is Running Out" and "Hysteria".

It looks more and more like this will crack the Top 10. I love this album by the way.

Love the cover art. Where did this end up peaking on Alternative? Me too. The best of the era, easily. Wikipedia says it peaked at #10 on Modern Rock (no info on Alternative chart. )
