These guys aren't particularly well-liked around here, but I happen to really enjoy their music. Their third single from "One-X" is off to a good start, already Top 10 at Active Rock nearly in the Top 20 at Alternative with a +149 bullet, good for third greatest gainer at the format. It's a slightly different sound for them; I think releasing a single with this vibe is a smart move given many of their other singles have been harder stuff, so the audience gets to see a different side of them. There's already an adds date for Pop and since "Pain" just missed the Top 50 and this is vastly more CHR-friendly, I think this could chart there.
Anyway, it's shaping up to be fairly big and is probably my third favorite single of theirs, behind "I Hate Everything About You" and "Pain."

I like it. Finally a rock ballad with balls!

I just heard this for the first time on MTV2. Ugh. This is awful! I don't know one person around here (here being the town I live in) that likes this type of rock music.

I'm surprised MTV2 is playing them again. I never saw the "Animal That I've Become" video on there or any video from the other bands that sound like them. Breaking Benjamin for example.

This has become my favorite Three Days Grace single. I'm happy with its success at the rock formats (#1 at Active Rock, Top 3 Alternative), but I'm a bit frustrated that CHR isn't giving it a chance. It's in the same vein as stuff like "Better Than Me," which, like it or not, does well in certain markets, but this is actually far superior to that trash.
On a different note, any news on a fourth single? I would think they'd release one...
