This is a really good song. Much better than the first single. It's a track from Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace.

Third single (from Dave's mouth). I was expecting this to be fourth. I guess I understand that they don't want to release two poppy songs in a row (LRTR and Cheer Up Boys), but Cheer Up Boys was a sure fire hit, and this I'm not so sure about. It's much more in the vein of their last two albums and The Pretender.

Music is the only thing that makes sense anymore... play it loud enough, it keeps the demons at bay.

Agree with Gold...Cheer Up Boys is a better song, but in reality the whole album is incredible, so it's a win no matter what. Interested to see how this does off the success of "Pretender" and "Long Road to Ruin"

I like this a lot. I'm with you guys about preferring "Cheer Up Boys," but this song is better to ensure Alternative radio that they're not going too soft. "Cheer Up Boys" better be the fourth single though (if they have one, there wasn't one from In Your Honor.
Something about "Let It Die" reminds me of the rock scene circa 1999/2000, but I can't pinpoint it.

Haven't heard much of this on the radio...people seem unwilling to let go of Long Road I guess...

The audience impressions are massive for the format. I guess this will be another #1 for them.

Yeah, I had a feeling this would do well. I REALLY hope this means we get Cheer Up Boys now.

I love the Foo's but this song is awful. I don't want it to go to #1- I just want it to go away already.

I love the Foo's but this song is awful. . That's quite a turnaround ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) Anyway, I'm glad this is #1. This is my second favourite single by the Foo's from this era after "The Pretender."
