This was released as the follow-up to the #1 R&B hit "Dreamin'" in 1989. I generally don't like her more pop leaning ballads, but I love this one. It manages to be just sexy and passionate enough that it doesn't become total adult contemporary cheese. It went to #10 at both R&B and Adult Contemporary.
