It's my favourite Aaliyah single produced by Timbaland, i love this song and the video was really hot. Great album too.

Hot song. One of the crazy things about this is how hot and original it sounded in 2001 and if it had come out a couple of years later, it would have blended in with half the R&B songs on radio.

I love this song but I think it's the least strong of her lead/comeback singles (including the soundtrack ones). "If Your Girl..." was like our first dose of the Timbaland sound and nothing sounded like it before it. "Are You That Somebody?" was just... I can't even describe how crazy that song sounded on first listen (in a good way). And "Try Again" also had an amazing affect. That's why I was kind of expecting more, especially in terms of the hook, from this lead single. I still LOVE it though. The violins are hot.

I love this song. I remember when I first heard it, I thought it was kind of weird. I loved the video.

I would classify this under the Alternative R&B category...

One of my favorite Aaliyah singles. The production is amazing, and this is one of her best vocals as well. She looked great in the video.

I think it's the least strong of her lead/comeback singles Agree! When I 1st heard this I didnt like it at all but then it grew on me. It's still not one of my favorite singles by Aaliyah but it's a good song. "Rock The Boat" & "I Care 4 U" were the highlights for me especially "I Care 4 U". That's probably my favorite ballad by her but the lead singles from her previous albums were HOT!

Now that I listen to this again, It sounds a few years ahead of its time. If this would have been released today it probably would have done much better on the charts, possibly #1.

I found this song boring. But I guess it's not really fair because I found all Aaliyah songs boring and hookless. It was hard to hear the vocals too.

I noticed that all I put was that this was my favorite aaliyah single... a poor understatement to what I feel is an example of what my favorite R&B music should sound like......I think this song kicked ass then, and it could possibly kick ass now.....
needless to say.... LOVES THIS!!....

The production of her singles was always really strong. Timbaland gave her some great stuff. A lot of her singles could come out now and be just as fresh as the were when they orignally came out.

Jam... At the time, I thought it was her weakest lead single. But today, I like it more than "If Your Girl Only Knew" and "Back & Forth."
