If she's smart (and I think she and her handlers are), she's gonna wring this album until it's dead - hence the re-release - and then take another long break.

I was too young to be listening to music when this first came out, so I don't remember it, but listening to her hits now, this is definitely one of the standouts of her career IMO, camp though it may be.

I haven't been able to stop listening to this. The way her vocals soar is downright epic.

Heard this on the radio today. Was outright offended by the chorus...horrible, horrible butchering of a classic.

I feel like this chick has released two dozen singles in the last year. She needs to slow down.

I think Nelly sounds awful on this. THIS. Normally I like her unique tone, but this song makes it exceptionally grating.

Lead single off her sophomore record.
HOT.

The better song is definitely winning out.

This sounds like a remix from the mid '90s. Simon usually has a somewhat decent sense of what's actually popular, so I'm shocked he would actually let his winner release this.

I still don't see its appeal but good for her I was totally on the same page as you until the video. It just made the song click for me.

#2 on the Hot 100
Looking like this could overtake "Set Fire to the Rain" next week. This definitely should've been the lead single.

I hope he hasn't missed the window opened up for him by "We Found Love." This isn't his best song, but I'd love it if he was huge over here.

Err...that was definitely something. There are definitely a couple of songs on the record that would've worked fantastically as a country single, and this was not one of them. It just sounds like a mess with the steel guitars.

It isn't #1 on the Hot 100, but still damn impressive.

I remember hearing "Rolling in the Deep" for the first time and thinking 'f**k this is awesome, too bad there's no way it'll work in the US.' God knows I was wrong on that front - and am quite glad about it.
