I never heard Marilyn Manson acoustic. This is the first time and boy I did not like it. I'm not sure if its because of odd choice of song or his voice is just bad.

I love it but it really is a blatant Evanescence copy on almost every level.

One of the worst songs of last year being covered by one of the worst bands of this decade? Absolutely not interested!

Its probably the heaviest song she has ever done. Very arena rock.

Elliott Smith and Cat Power quickly came to mind when I heard this.

She was probably a latina in another life.

So indie rock. I'm not sure if I would enjoy an entire album that would sound like this.

Does anyone know if they have more songs similar to this one? I downloaded "Papercuts" from an older album and I LOVE it... but so far anything else I checked out sounds more like "Cupid's..." and "Clothes Off." I really want more stuff more like this and "Papercuts." The entire Papercut Chronicles album is good. From that album I liked "Pillmatic", "Petrified Life and the Twice Told Joke", "Graduation Day", and the instrumental "Apollo 3-1-5". edit; "Graduation Day" is also an instrumental.

It HAS to. But I don't think it will. "Clothes Off" is at #52 right now.
Grrr.

The video for this premieres April 30th. I'd rather have them be a one hit wonder than be known for crap like "Clothes Off".

Thank god they didn't go with "Clothes Off!". That song is like post-2003 Black Eyed Peas territory with Patrick Stump as their Fergie.

I like it along with the other song that is on Promosquad. But why are they testing those two songs? They aren't radio friendly in the slightest.

I like how his voice sounds actually and I like that the whole band helped out with the some of the Wyclef Jean parts.

I like it better than "Survivalism", but "Me, I'm Not" is the one that has officially gotten me excited for the album.
I'm pretty sure if this was the first single, it would be where "Survivalism" is at the chart.

Also, it's featuring Fat Joe and Jesus (wtf?). Jesus is a Spanish name LMAO. and its pronounced with the "h" sound.

yeah, this is a favorite of mine as well. "Heaven Forbid" is good too.
But the album gets boring towards the end with all those ballads, I'm still not giving up on it though.

Oh, yes I love it. Its nice and mellow. Jesse Lacey sounds sexy on it, lol.
It sounds like Modest Mouse. At least the guitars do.

I've realized that the only way for me to enjoy this album is by listening to it on shuffle mode. I can't stand listenting to it track after track of Gerard's voice.
Anyway, there are a lot of tracks on this album that resemble "The Ghost of You", so I would highly recommend this one if you liked that one. If Gerard had a much more appealing voice, I would love this song a little more.
