Yeah, "Voices Carry" is the only Til Tuesday song I'm familiar with. Aimee Mann was really weird looking back then with her 80s hairdo.

I remember seeing this on VH1 and Blender's countdown of the 50 most horrible songs of the year it was released. "Woke Up Early This Morning, Made My Cofee Like I Always Do" That's a pretty lousy lyric there. Sure, the lyrics are quite dumb. She feel in love with the 8th world wonder? but its a guilty pleasure for me.

Love it, but I love "Anything But Down" more. So underrated.

The whole album was the epitome of some of the worst music Alanis ever wrote.

I can't understand a single thing she says in this song, but I think I like it. After this, I never heard any of her other singles from this and her new album.

Great song, but wouldn't it suck being the only guy in this band that is mostly composed of girls?

Duplicate thread. I remember it because tyler (who killed himself) started it. This one has more replies though.
But yeah, good song. Most TBS fans call this their best song.

Hmm, I doubt it was even a hit. The band is very underground but influential.

I love it. I have the album but never got around to listening to it.
and this belongs in the Rock Review. Its weird seeing a Mandy Moore topic following this.

I never understood what was going on in the video. But yeah, the random sh*t that was occurring is what ruined it for me.

It was a way better comeback single than "Androgyny". I only liked this song for like a month, then it got tiresome. Shirley sounded awful in the chorus and its what ruined it for me.

Not a bad song. They turned into one of the worst bands of this decade with their follow-up singles though.

Probably my fav Julieta song!!! it's from the movie "Amores Perros" and obviously it was released before she turned into a pop artist. It was also her biggest hit before songs like "Lento" and "Me Voy". Mostly because the movie was such a phenomenon and saved Mexican cinema. The song has such a unique structure. There's barely even a chorus but it works. I love when the music quiets down and she sings "Por que tus amores perros me van a matar". I get amazed everytime I hear it.

They have so many good songs from that era. This and "Before the Dawn" are great. I can't help it either.
