I think I'm the only one who thinks this won't be a hit. I can see the peaking at #17-19.

Did it really go for adds? Because it doesn't seem like it did.

This is already Top 10 in Canada, I think.

Misses Top 5 most added. #79 with a +30 bullet. Wow, "When You're Gone" really ruined whatever momentum she had with "Girlfriend."

Yeah, "When You're Gone" was an awful single choice. She should have gone with "I Can Do Better." Even though we all hate that song, I think it's just a Sound Check thing.

Yeah...it's annoying, and while that usually doesn't play well on this board, the public seems to like annoying crap. I actually really liked "When You're Gone" THE SONG...I just wish it would've had different better vocals.
But really, where's RCA and their infamous payola cash infusions at?

It's still early in the song's chart run, give them a break, they'll be there.
Just be happy you aren't in Canada where it just entered the Top 10 (although at least it only has the third largest bullet there).

It's funny how one single choice can make or break your career. Realeasing "I Can Do Better," I think would have fueled the album. She also messed up when she didn't release "My Happy Ending" first, and she missed out on the chance of being a pop legend by omitting the song "Daydream" from her second album.

She also ruined all credibility she had with this album. Its going to take her a lot to get it back too.
