RCA screwed up just like they did with Christina.......ANOM nice size hit.......getting good play on Pop Rhythmic & even Urban....released "Hurt" and killed the momentum of the album.......Girlfriend was a priddy big hit.....they followed it with "When your gone" and killed the album as well..........but "Hot" is MUCH safer than "Candyman"......i wouldnt think this would be flopping as bad as i is.......

She just needs to release the right singles and she'll be fine.

I thought this was the right single to release at this point. I agree that "When You're Gone" killed all momentum she had after the success of "Girlfriend". If they really wanted to release a ballad second they should've gone with "Innocence". It's a BETTER song, but I'm not so sure it would've kept the momentum going either.
It looks like this era is over. Thanks RCA for screwing up another album!

They should not have released a ballad second. In fact, they didn't need to release a ballad at all since "Keep Holding On" was a single.

Yeah. When they announced that "When You're Gone" was the second single, I was totally like WTF? "Keep Holding On" was just released months before that and they should've kept the momentum going with an upbeat song.

Call me crazy, but I think this would really work as a country song.

Wow, she sounds great. I definitely like the song a lot more after hearing the stripped down version.

Okay, that was...interesting. Her album is doing REALLY well in Japan, from what I've heard, so it makes sense that she would record this. Cater to that Japanese market Ramona! LOL.

I actually think RCA should send this for adds again, just for the hell of it. Star 94 has been playing it for a bit and I don't see why this shouldn't do well if freaking "When You're Gone" at least scraped the Top 10. IMO, the chorus is really catchy, but the verses are a bit forgettable.

This has been riding a double digit bullet FOREVER it seems. It's actually got one of it's healthier bullets at the moment.
