I want to be really excited, but I'm kind of not. Please don't be like "Bones".

I'm excited because Brandon cut off his mustache!
Hot Fuss = no mustache Sam's Town = mustache
But "Bones" was serious crap.

Pop adds October 14.

I actually enjoyed the singles from their last album, they weren't as good as the first album, but I liked them. "When You Were Young" was a really good single.

I wasn't excited but now I am due to the "synth atmospherics." Plus I'm hoping a Pop adds date that soon means this will be insanely catchy.

I really hope this is a return to the brilliance of the singles from the first album. WYWY was decent, but the rest of the singles from the second record were complete crap.

I loved the Sam's Town singles. The Hot Fuss singles got tired really quick.

Sam's Town had some great moments, but it was trying way too hard and was entirely too grandiose. It was like "Hey, lets be U2 and Springsteen with a little bit of Queen thrown in instead of The Killers."

"Read My Mind" was one of my favorite songs for a long time. I liked it a lot more than "When You Were Young". I found that overdone and preachy.
Hopefully this is good and they're not "trying" to make epic music. I think music like that just happens. Once you start trying to make it you're just damning yourself to the clearance rack.

As far as I'm concerned, Sam's Town had two great songs, a few average songs, and the rest was crap.
I would actually love this to sound like "Read My Mind".

RMM and WYWY were great, but I was disappointed with Sam's Town overall. I'm hoping for a new sound though, rather than back to Hot Fuss.

I like this. Very catchy. It's very dancy as well, which is definitely not what I was expecting from them this time around.

I like this, but whoa! It's actual dance music. It'll do nothing in the US.

All I can think of when I listen to this is that it's like a dance mix of a song from the Napoleon Dynamite soundtrack.

This is f**king repulsive. So much for their career at Alternative. Critics are going to have a parade with this...."are we human, or are we dancer?" - seriously?!
This is one of the gayest songs I've ever heard. It sounds like a cheap remix to a Sam's Town b-side.

Since Stuart Price produced the album, it was expectable. This is not catchy. It's like a "Sam's Town" song with a more interesting production.

I was going to say it sounded like LuConte, but the production is not nearly as good as it was on his remixes of "Brightside" and "Young." The melody is typical Killers, but the worst thing about this song has to be the lyrics. First they were trying to go all masculine and Springsteen, and now this is as poppy as it gets. Can't these guys just go back and look at what made them famous? I know bands are supposed to evolve and experiment, but The Killers should honestly just stick to their original formula. Brandon sounds so much better over crunchy guitars and Cure-esque synths.

Where's the hook? The instrumental is nice though.
And I have always thought Brandon Flowers was a terrible songwriter.
