The video is being filmed this week, I hope they don't wait too long to get it out. It's taking off early pretty damn nicely!

I heard this on the Sirius UAC station this morning and it sounds really good on the radio. I like it a lot more now than I did on first listen.
Unfortunately, her album sales are projected by HITS to blow and the lead single couldn't even go Top 10 at Billboard R&B when all three of her previous lead singles went to #1 there. This isn't a definite flop by any means and it can still be a hit, but it's definitely an uphill battle for her.

The backup singers got their act together, and Monica was singing FLAWLESS with lots of vocal tricks, and the audience got seriously into it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=MnHZWDIJfwk&NR

Okay that CD USA performance is FIYAH! Her vocals are on point and she just BROUGHT IT in the stage presence department. It's not like she was a dead fish on stage before, of course. I just love the how she's been commanding the stage and working the crowd ever since this promotion started. Clearly performing at those ATL gay clubs helped her gain a lot of confidence (or at least had some part in it). Do the damn thing Mo!

Her vocals were really good in that CDUSA performance, however, her back up singers need to go.

Her vocals were really good in that CDUSA performance, however, her back up singers need to go. I can't decide about them either... they're fine on Beat Drop because it doesn't really matter, but on Roses... I think it's one of the women, I think she gets off FREQUENTLY. The guy and the other woman I think are fine. They were better at CDUSA because Monica just sort of took the song back from them a lot haha.

That FAT HOODRAT background singer is like too amped or something. They don't sound good on ADR. They throw Mo off. But ADR is mostly carried by the background vocals. I think it would probably be better if she did THAT with the band too.

11th greatest gainer at Urban with +196 from just 37 stations.
They should send it for adds at UAC and Rhythmic soon, before the end of the month at least. And I hope they get the video out really soon; she filmed it this past week.
Total audience is up to over 4.5 million so it should debut on the R&B chart next week.
