The lead single from Kelly's next album will drop in April. David Guetta produced it.

Awesome. I'd love for this pairing to score another hit, if only so Kelly has a hit under her name.

Seeing as how she's no longer with Mathew Knowles, maybe that will happen.

EVERYONE is working with David Guetta now. I think all these songs are going to cancel each other out tbh.

This should be good. "When Love Takes Over" was so hot and should've been a hit in the States.

I hop its urban leaning since that is her core. She has been working with Rico Love as well. She hasnt announced news of a single. Where did this info come from?

I read on a blog that her new single will premiere tonight. She is supposedly performing in Miami. Like I said.. its just from a blog.. not sure how reliable it is. I wouldn't put too much stock into this. But hey.. it may happen tonight.. Apparently its all stemming from this... Rumors are that the "Special Guest" is Kelly. The image comes from kellyrowlandweb.com So it could very well be true.

^Who said it was going to be R&B? The U.S. is the only territory where a different single will be released. Someone I know who has been tapped to remix it says the first single is Dance-oriented R&B. Maybe "Commander" will be serviced as a club single here. I'm hoping for something hot like that Freemasons single mix of "Work". It could have actually done something in the U.S. had it been promoted but with Daddy Knowles in the driver's seat, you knew everything would get ruined. I have been a fan of Kelly's solo work for a while now. "Can't Nobody", "Stole", "Like This", and "Work" are some of my favorites. I enjoyed the dance mixes of those singles in addition to "Daylight" and "Ghetto". "When Love Takes Over" was really gorgeous. I do wish that had done better. I do appreciate the fact that they didn't have to release a watered down ballad version to get wider airplay here. There is an unreleased 'chill' version that Kelly performed a couple of times.

If the first single is "dance oriented R&B" it sounds like that could work in the US and internationally.
