#1 on iTunes after Haley's performance. Yes! Thank you, Ms Reinhart.

Top 20 Pop
If it weren't for "Judas" I'd say this would have a decent shot at Hot 100 #1 next week.

If sales continue as they have over the last 24 hours RITD will be outselling Gaga by 2 to 1 on iTunes! I think it's Perry who will spoil the Adele party, personally. My prediction:
1. Perry 2. Adkins 3. Gaga
I don't want to appear ungrateful but that AI performance just served as a reminder as to how good Adele actually is!
PS Forgot about Beyonce releasing this week. Oh well.

Nonetheless, it's great to see Adele up there and in the mix, especially with this kick@$$ song.

She has an absolutely massive lead on iTunes at the moment (she's almost outselling Katy Perry 2:1 and Gaga is a distant 3rd!). The only thing that will maybe stop her going to #1 is airplay! When you consider this is just due to an AI contestant singing it, what will happen when Adele actually appears?? www.livepopbars.com/index.php?Region=143441&Chart=34

Back to #1 on iTunes after a contestant on "The Voice" sang it.
This is a bold statement, but I think this song can/will become a modern day classic. It's THAT good, and it's connecting with everyone. I don't think she'll even be able to top it.

It's very transcendental. I keep seeing all these girls back in the US posting it on Facebook... it seems to always be girls, but other than that everyone is different as can be and I've seen it come up on my news feed like 6 times in the past two weeks.

Also this is now #1 at Hot AC with a huge bullet still.

All it needs is for Adele to sing it herself on US TV when she's promo'ing from Mid May and this will almost certainly be a Hot 100 #1

It's THAT good, and it's connecting with everyone. I don't think she'll even be able to top it. They said that first about Hometown Glory (wrote it when she was 16) and later about MYFML back in the day. I agree it will definitely be a modern day classic but I would never bet against Adele coming up with something even better in the future. Incredibly, she's actually younger than Rihanna.

This song, I think is lock for Record and Song of the Year wins at the Grammys next year. I also think she will be the Album of the Year winner as well.

This is #2 in digital sales this week behind Katy/Kanye. Seems it will hit #2 on the Hot 100 though matching its peak in the UK! Although Rihanna's airplay may force it to settle for #3 this week. Either way big bullet and it will continue to rise.

Plus she starts the US tour on 12th May with a fair few gaps in the itinerary presumably set aside for promo. I imagine there will be plenty of TV promo coming up (I'm sure AI's producers haven't missed what subsequently happened to RITD when that contestant sang it!). But Perry's airplay is so huge she needs to beat her by 70,000 on sales to get a chance at #1. It will happen. RITD is currently streaking away at the top of US iTunes. livepopbars.com/index.php?Region=143441&Chart=34PS 11. ADELE - Rolling In The Deep: 70.936 (+ 2.030)

This is so steady at #1 on iTunes and airplay is filling in FAST. I'm thinking this will be the week that Adele grabs #1 on the Hot 100.

Now overtaken by Gaga on iTunes but that won't have a bearing on the #1, that's between RITD and ET. Certainly the airplay is not as big a problem as it was previously, another huge update today:
3. ADELE - Rolling In The Deep: 102.695 (+ 3.342)
