bellboys it must be strange for you to see this doing even better in the US than it did in the UK, considering how big it was here! It really is weird, Roll Up! And the fact that it's totally unexpected makes it even more enjoyable. What a year she's having (barring the voice problems, of course ). And these sales are based on so little recent TV promo as well. PS RITD could be #1 for weeks yet - her airplay is obviously huge but so are her sales! She seems capable of repelling all comers on US iTunes at the moment and some of them are really big names as well - Gaga, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Lil Wayne etc. Incredibly she could end the year in the US with the biggest selling album and single. The stuff of dreams.

Falls to #2 on the Hot 100 after 7 weeks at the top.
This will likely be the #1 song on the year-end chart.

This is falling like a brick now! Hopefully SLY gains starts making up for lost spins really quickly.

I think the timing is just about spot on. She HAS to sing SLY at the VMAs but mtv are saying she will sing RITD. Curious.

MTV always makes artists sing their biggest hit of the year because they are all about ratings, but the wise ones turn their performances into "medleys."

Good point. Talking of medleys, does anyone recall Adele ever doing one? I don't.
