And that's when her voice is 'knackered'. Congratulations, Adele. #1 on the Hot 100. Who'd have thought it could happen? She looks like a shoe in for #1 next week as well. As does the album. Adele is unstoppable at the moment - and she' playing in a 1200 capacity venue in Washington tonight Crazy.

This was featured very prominently on the season finale of Gossip Girl.
Also spends a second week at #1 on the Hot 100.

Looking at the competition I think RITD could be #1 for a good few weeks yet. Her airplay (almost 130m) is now only beaten by ET (which is being outsold by at least 2:1) and Gaga's singles (or whatever they are calling them this week) are faltering badly. Pitbull is selling well but his airplay is currently half of RITD. Ditto Mr Mars kworb.net/pop/

Do we know what her 2nd single is going to be?

Who'd have thought it? 1. ADELE - Rolling In The Deep: 150.127 (+ 2.321) 2. KATY PERRY - E.T.: 148.499 (- 0.594) Gaga is throwing everything at promoting The Edge of Glory at the moment - SNL, Good Morning America, American idol Finale - and it still can't get above RITD on iTunes! Incredible success story, and IMO so deserved. 1 Scotty McCreery - I Love You This Big (American Idol Pe... 1.0000 2 ADELE - Rolling In the Deep 0.9107 3 Lady GaGa - The Edge of Glory 0.8380 kworb.net/pop/

Going to see her on Tuesday in Chicago! Can't wait! Do we know what her 2nd single is going to be? Billboard is reporting it's "Someone Like You," but we've been hearing "Set Fire to the Rain" for months.

Whatever it's going to be, there's no need to rush release it - RITD is by no means finished (it may be #1 for weeks yet!) and it's definitely selling the album. I think she will perform SLY on US X Factor (I think it's significant she didn't appear on AI and my feeling is Cowell has her signed up exclusively). Whether they can actually wait that long to release SLY as the next single I doubt so who knows?

Everyone wants a piece of Adele. After John Legend’s gospel-tinged cover and Mike Posner’s spacey remix, Nicole Scherzinger sinks her claws into the British singer’s chart-topping hit. See the new “X Factor” judge take on the big tune live during a private gig in Monte Carlo for Hugo Boss.

They need to release Rumor Has it. Haven't listened to the whole album yet (only half) but I agree, "Rumor Has it" is so infectious!!

I think the next single either needs to be "Someone Like You" which is already pulling in some adds and is a proven worldwide smash already, or "Turning Tables" which is already semi well known and a downloads hit already.

Well if Rolling in the Deep holds through summer, Someone Like You would be smart to push in the fall for Christmas sales.

My hunch is she will launch SLY on X Factor US in Autumn/the fall.

Well if Rolling in the Deep holds through summer, Someone Like You would be smart to push in the fall for Christmas sales. There's every chance this song will hold through the Summer. Check out the latest daily airplay update! 1. ADELE - Rolling In The Deep: 158.808 (+ 2.484) This is on its way into the Top 10 airplay of all time list!

bellboys it must be strange for you to see this doing even better in the US than it did in the UK, considering how big it was here!
