Finally all this news is coming in about Spring releases. I'm not super[/i] excited for this, but I'm still looking pretty forward to it. The title sounds promising.

A clip plays when you go on their site. It's really, really bland. I feel like they keep writing the same song over and over again. www.googoodolls.com/main.html

I love the clip! I have to wait and hear the full song, but it sounds like it will probably be my favorite single of theirs this decade. I don't think it's bland at all. The hook is immediate and the drum work gives it a little more edge than their previous two singles. I hope it's every bit as successful as "Better Days."

Oh man, I can't wait for 5:30 now. ;D How does the whole song sound? (Assuming you've purchased it)

LOL. I think it's way too early for the song to go to iTunes. "Better Days" would have peaked higher on the Hot 100 if they waited a little longer to send it to iTunes. Anyway, no complaints because I get to hear it tonight now!

Hearing this in full, this is instantly my favorite Goo Goo Dolls single of this decade. It sounds like it could have been on Dizzy Up The Girl, which is a good thing. I like the melody of the verses, the "Clocks"-like drums in the chorus, and the summery pop hook. It should do well for them at HAC. The one thing that I would change if I had to change something would be Johnny's vocals- they're not bad by any means, but I know he can sing with more power than this.

I didn't like "Better Days," but I love this. This is a lot easier to get into than "Better Days" for me. I liked that song a lot too, but it was too plain to really get into on repeated listens. But everytime I play this new one, I can't stop.

call me crazy but i wouldn't be suprised if this hit #1 at Hot AC and was a top 40 pop hit as well, you can't expect a great pop rock song from a mature established artist to go very high on what i like to call kiddy pop these days, hot ac is the real pop. theres more ages of adult 18-50 than there is 12-17, i mean most kids would rather listen to theyre ipods anyway Anyways #1 hit

Pop artists like Kelly Clarkson and Natasha Beingfield are having huge hits at HAC. And HAC artists like Jewel are struggling at HAC. The two formats really as different as they were a couple years ago. Anyway, Goo Goo Dolls is one of the few 90's acts remaining that I think can continue to have a loyal HAC following even without Pop also on board.

This is so bland. It also seems a bit contrived. This will be a Hot/AC smash though.

Yes true, but i don't really feel alot of the artist pop are ignoring these days like Jewel & Sheryl Crow are doing anything wrong. I don't think Sheryl Crow's "All I Wanna Do" could be a Pop Hit right now. But at HOT AC it would. It's good to have a home for straight up traditional Top 40 music and that is HOT AC these days. I mean Jewel would have to collaborate with Young Jeezy and Bow Wow on some pointless song which would need no concept, just a smooth beat to get a CHR POP hit, It shouldn't be like that. Now in saying that alot of CHR smashes are worthy Powter,Blunt, & Clarkson. But I somehow feel it's not based on merit like it is at HOT AC. Blunts the cool new british guy, Clarkson's pretty, young, & the 1st American Idol. At HOT AC i just feel it's more about the music and it keeps traditional Top 40 going. 1955-2001, then 2002-now HOT AC. Those formats look more alike.
