This is actually in the Top 40 on iTunes.

That's weird - I didn't like anything from the first album apart from "Weekends and Bleak days (Hot Summer)".
I think this is a BIG improvement.

I love this - don't have an mp3 of it yet though but it still rockets up my personal chart on the strength of the hilarious video.

Well Boyz was released on June 18th, and Jimmy on Oct 1st, so logically using the 'gap to single release ratio' it should be January 7th. ;D

I saw the video - effing crap edit. No wonder she's pissed off. So I've decided to play the unedited version REALLY LOUD to counter the effects of the twats who run the music industry. Oh and can we get a release date PLEASE.

It needs the gunshots.
Funny how America bans gunshots from a record but NOT guns....
*Cynical overload*

But apparently this is "only just" Top 40 in this week's midweeks.... Oops!

Third single from Sound of Silver. Zane Lowe has been playing it a bit and I like it a lot actually - more so than the first two singles. It will be released on CD and 12" vinyl on October 22. Here's the video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlgLgE1D8w8

Woo for Roisin. #28 is great for her, I didn't even expect Top 40!
Shame that both the Hives and Dave Gahan missed out on the Top 40.

Is Roisin on physicals, because that's horrible if she is Yes - I bought it. Sadly she is not selling at all on downloads so it's probably only going to fall during the week.

The Kardinal Beats Remix is now avaliable to download from UK iTunes - it's different but pretty good. Here's a better HQ picture of the single artwork:

Was the highest new entry at 33 on my personal chart this Sunday. ;D Zane Lowe has been playing it a lot and I think it's on the R1 playlist too. I like it a lot! The single is out on 7" vinyl (on XL recordings - MIA / Thom Yorke / The White Stripes) on October 22 and the download is avaliable on October 15.

I read it was the first "Children In Need" single to miss the top 10. Yep, the previous low was achieved by Martine McCutcheon in 1999 and Liberty X in 2005 (Number 6). Other CiN singles include "Downtown" by Emma Bunton which made #3 last year and "I'll Stand By You" by Girls Aloud which made #1 in 2004.
