It looks like songs are going recurrent once they leave the Top 10 now.

It is such an odd title.

I feel like every artist that had the potential to be huge in the 2000's screwed everything up or just stopped making music. Gwen Stefani, Fergie, Nelly Furtado, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Avril Lavigne, the list goes on...

They are weighting streaming way too much. Just when I felt like the Hot 100 was the most accurate it's ever been, they go and screw up it again.

It reminds me a little of that "Ready to Go" song by I forget who. By Republica?

I actually like this. Sure beats "Broken Hearted," "Call Me Maybe," and other songs in its vein.

That production is so hot. I wish the song was catchier. It seems to fit right in with what's popular now.

I like this song, but it's an odd choice for a single. I would have gone with the Jessie J or Jennifer Hudson one.

I don't think we've had this many white people top the Hot 100 in a row since the 80's!

I agree that they needed to change his image and sound. But they could have at least done it with a better song.

As much as I love this song, it just doesn't scream "radio-friendly." We'll see how it does coming after two flops.

This burned out so fast. But hey, they got the #1 they wanted with a simple throwaway track. Is there even a video for this?

#1 on the Hot 100. I can see this being a monster #1. Seems like it will continue to expose itself to new demographics as it grows. Good for the song, but I hope it isn't at the expense of "Rumor Has It" or "Somebody That I Used to Know."

Peak-wise, she's the new Natasha Bedingfield. British artist with a debut single that barely misses the Top 10 and a more accessible follow-up that ends up at #2. Hopefully her third "single" will do better than Bedingfield's.

I like this. Sounds like any other dance/pop single out though. the reason I like it is because it doesn't sound dance-y to me.
