When's the last time an even slightly socially conscious song or politically charged song was a hit at Pop radio? ? ? ? Yeah... exactly. "Holiday" - Green Day?

LOVE this. It kind of reminds me of Moby's "Porcelain" in some parts. I really wish the MC/You love yourself some me lyrics were different.

If Mariah Carey recorded a song called "For the Record" to celebrate any sort of chart feat, she would instantly lose all of the already little respect I have for her. Hopefully, this isn't the case.

I actually like this. It's not fiyah or anything, but it's not as bad as some of the other things from this era.

The fact that she recorded this doesn't scare me, the fact that she apparently really likes it is what scares me. According to people at the listening party, she was pulling for this as the first single. Let's not forget the reports that Madonna wanted "I Love New York" to be the first single from Confessions on a Dance Floor and we all know how that panned out.

I highly doubt this will end up on her forthcoming lp.

As if the trannies don't get their dicks hard in their panties over anything Madonna does, already.

Exactly. On paper Madonna's lyrics always look ridiculous. "Do you like to boogie woogie" in "Music", anyone? It's the way things come together that makes things work.
