I don't get all this hate against Z100. A lot of times before an artist has a new single bumped into new rotation, they bump the artist's signature hit into higher rotation. They also do it sometimes before an artist is set to have a big album in the coming months. It's more of a way to be like, "Hey, remember this great artist! They have new music that we'll be playing soon if you like it." It's not their fault if "Hung Up" and "Don't Bother" got bad reactions from the people calling in.

I hate the video. I was hoping for something sexy. It reminds me of the "Don't Cha" video, in terms of the songs are hot, but the videos just don't match them.

I was hoping for something sexy. I think "La Tortura" was a lot hotter. She just looks like she flaling around here. Maybe it's just the hair. I think it makes her look dirty. I don't know what it is though.

I heard this on the radio tonight and it didn't sound as cheap. I'm convinced there's just no super HQ MP3 out there yet.

The video sucks. It should have been something more hot, with a fiesta, fire... Like the single cover.

Awful video. La Tortura redux - except way over the top and 100x more cheesy.

Hung Up never got bad reactions from listeners at z100... in fact quite the opposite.

This might sound like a dumb question, but if "Hips Don't Lie" does really well, what's she gonna release after it?
Clearly they didn't think anything on the original album was strong enough to release this time around, so they're doing a rerelease. They can't rerelease it again when she needs a new single.

I think "Illegal" is her only hit on the original album. The problem is it couldn't follow up a flop because a ballad like that one following a flop is asking for an even bigger flop.

Awful video. La Tortura redux - except way over the top and 100x more cheesy. I do have to agree with this; I mean she looks hot, but it was very similar to La Tortura only brighter visuals. Even the dancing in the video is very reminiscent of La Tortura. Heck she even replace Alejandro for Wyclef.

I just heard the original song "Dance Like This" for the first time. Wow, it really is the SAME song. Forget calling this a sample- this is the definition of a remake

The Verizon commercials featuring this song are on CONSTANTLY. And they make sure they get the song title featured very prominently in the commercial. Too bad there's no digital single to benefit from that.
