Well she sure needs it. I'm sure i'll love it, but i wish she didn't have to sell out and do it.

I don't know if I'd consider a collabo with Wyclef selling out. I mean, he's about as far as they come from hitmaking insurance.
On the other hand, she has a great album and is instead using a re-relase for the SECOND single, and making it in a style that's more stereotypical of what people expect from "Latin" singers, so yeah.

Yeah, I meant the second one. I feel liek the label just expected it to be huge without having to do anything.

I don't care what she does. She's far too talented to get ignored by radio... so whatever it takes. I'm glad to see even though she's trying really hard to get a hit, it's not like she's writing a song about the elements of her ass with Daddy Yankee.

The song is called "Hips Don't Lie" I really like it a lot. It's very catchy and hope it will be a hit for her.

I suppose it's catchy but it's more than a little odd to hear Shakira doing collaborations like this.

The link won't work for me. I'm glad to hear it being described as "catchy" though.

Doing a collabo with Wyclef is not selling out. Selling out is when you act in a mediocre comedy with Steve Martin.

Yeah...when was the last time Wyclef had a hit? Working with him isn't selling out. Now if Shakira was doing a song with Nelly or Jermaine Dupri I would say it was.

This is HOT! My only complaint is that her vocals are a little weak. She has way stronger vocals than she's using here. I'm not as impressed as I was with "Don't Bother" or most of the original album, but in terms of a hot song for radio... she's spot on. I hope this is a big hit for her. It'll sound perfect over the spring.

This apparently samples a song on the Dirty Dancing 2 Soundtrack called "Dance like this" that's originally a song by Wyclef.

Goes for adds on February 28.
It does sound like something I'd like to hear on a hot summer/warm spring day. Even having heard the clip, I can safely say that this is already better than "Animal City" so I'm wishing her the best of luck with this track.

Guaranteed smash. I was overally pretty disappointed with OF2, this is more in line with what I was expecting from the album.

patiently wait for the HQ. Sounds hot from the radio expecially Shakira's part. Not too keen on Wyclef's part however.
