I hope they add it to iTunes soon. Me too. Hopefully next week, but I wouldn't be surprised if they wait for it to really build in airplay first since that's what more artists have been doing lately. It's already on the most important stations.

La Tortura, Hips Don't Lie... Same reggaeton tempo. I'm sick of this one. The song is actually pretty good, but I liked LT better. She's capable of much better IMO. I LOVE the cover!!

Z100 said this is getting an incredible reaction. Good. Cubby was out to doom "Don't Bother" from the start with his dumb comments about how people thought it was awful and whatever. That's great news. I hope Z100 supports this song. ;D

Kind of weird how she even went blonde again for the video shoot. She really does want a hit.

She's been blonde since 1999, so not seeing the problem. Also, that cover picture was taken in October of 2005.

She looks sexy on the cover, but I'm still not digging the song.

On the "Taking Off" list on The CHR/POP list, Shakira is in the 2nd place with 7 new adds. Pink is #1 with 8. A total of 16 pop stations are playing it. And on the CHR/RHY list, Shakira is in the 11th place with 2 new adds. She`s never made that list with either LT or DB (as far as I remember). So it`s quite nice to see her there .

The video will be based on the Barranquilla Carnaval in Colombia.

The video will be based on the Barranquilla Carnaval in Colombia. I have a lot of respect for artists when they use their videos to expose viewers to new cultures. I'm sure the video will be all skin, but even still, I'm glad Shakira is also incorporating something different and insightful into the video.

Screw what I said. This HOT! Sure, she's selling out, but at least it's a good song.

This is EXPLODING! It's almost on the chart and it hasn't even been out a full week yet.

They just raised the rotation of "La Tortura." I wonder why they do that. They said that DB got a bad response, and yet they played it so much in one week that it got to #14 on their airplay chart. They said THIS got a GOOD response, and yet, they don`t seem to be playing it at all.

The only thing I can think of is their waiting to see if it's going to become a hit elsewhere since "Don't Bother" didn't do well for them. Their program director does not like to take risks. This song seems like a no-brainer though.

They played it 3 times on the premiere date, then never again, but raised rotation of that horrendous "Like A Prayer" cover by Madhouse.

Oh my God I HATE HATE HATE that Madhouse thing. And they've had it in regular rotation for about three years straight now! It was even back in the Top 30 of their playlist last time I checked. But yeah, the situation is similar with "Hung Up." The only difference is Z100 had written off Madonna but Shakira is supposedly one of their "hot artists" right now.
