This week's theme is 21st Century music. I was confused as hell until I read that. And how is the song not available for downloads yet?? They are probably waiting to release it tomorrow with the album re-release, or later on when airplay peaks.

I want to be surprised and hear it on the radio.
Is it much different than the original? Any good?

It's an urban remix. There's a new beat and more rap.

I checked and it works for me. I think the label should send the remix to iTunes. If they're not going to put the album version on iTunes (which does make sense), they should put some version of this song on so that it can get a little higher on the Hot 100.

Hope they do somethin like that.

Hasn't it been #1 for awhile? They're always like "Shakira is #1 AGAIN!"

This is now her biggest CHR/Pop hit since "Underneath Your Clothes". It's approaching a quadruple digit bullet.

No because it peaked in the 50's somewhere and those positions aren't official.

I don't know why, but I always thought "La Tortura" was a pop hit. Didn't Z100 plaid it a lot. And didn't Shakira said at the RMA "it's great to have a Spanish song played in the USA?" or something like that.

Yeah, I though La Tortura was at least a Top 25 hit. That was the Hot 100. Judging by the amount of times I heard it on the radio I would have thought it was a Pop radio hit though.

You have to keep in mind a good portion of the United States is not as open to ethnic diversity as the coastal cities.
