This would be such a depressing graduation song. Most of them are corny but there's some "light at the end of the tunnel" kind of feeling to them.
This is like "Well, it was fun while it lasted. Now your life sucks"

This is like "Well, it was fun while it lasted. Now your life sucks" Yep. Which is exactly why it reminds me literally of the thought going through my head for the three months immediately moving back to the good ol' USA after my semester abroad. And when I first heard this song, it reopened that can of worms for me again. Which is why I LOVE this song! It's so rare you find a song that really matches up to something you went through personally, but this song does that for me. Just wish I had it in summer '04!

They should pull a Maneater/SIR (even though ME never went for adds) and send Glow out immediately. It's a shame that this probably won't be the hit it deserves to be over here, but when Give It To Me was given a second wind, this didn't stand a chance. If Give It To Me could go top 5, so can Glow.

Yeah. Just make this a "transition single" like they did with Maneater, haha. I'm pissed that this song didn't even really get a chance at radio but there's no point in dwelling on it. She could probably get a hit with either Glow or Do It if she releases them in enough time. I have a feeling Geffen might push Showtime though since they've been wanting that one for awhile it seems.

aww, i love this song, its soo crazy how some songs which are HUGE hits in europe flop in the states, i get really annoyed by that, the same happened with maneater too, at least that went top20 on billboard tho

Do you think they will even release another single?? If so, her best shot at a hit in the U.S. would be "Afraid".

i don't think "Afraid" can be a hit in the us

Since "Say it Right" was so huge, I definitely think "Afraid" could be huge... everyone I know loves "Afraid"

but SIR is not similar to Afraid... she should release Glow or Showtime

I think the closest thing sounded to SIR on the album is "Afraid"

This got a boost at iTunes. It's #64 now.
Yesterday I think it was in the 80's.

Apparently there was a Billboard article where Nelly said there will be 6-7 US singles. So if thats true, then its not done yet. lol
