this is actually #4 in overall urban audience now, i wonder where it'll be on Billboard. still going strong, it may be a challenger for #1 actually! but at least top 5 looks solid.

#83 iTunes now. Seems anything MTV plays clips of between shows crosses over to iTunes immediately (this, Mika, Lily Allen, and Gym Class Heroes being the four current examples)

I just decided that this is my new slow jam... This song is hot.
To be honest, I'm surprised that it's doing so well after "Wanna Love You Girl" flopped. BTW, Robin Thicke looks eerily like his dad.

the entry into iTunes 100 is the most shocking, I think... have to think about that for a while. It's not hardly getting Rhythmic play.
i think it didn't matter for this that the previous single flopped, since this was timed closer with the album release and it's a completely completely different type of song.

Well it's not that shocking because like I said, MTV is advertising this song pretty hard now. VIdeos are still more important than airplay when it comes to downloads.

then i guess the question is why is MTV promoting that? i'm having a hard time thinking of urban songs they've promoted that haven't already crossed over at least to rhythmic, not to mention pop

I know they recently promoted Common's "I Have A Dream" in the same spots, except I only saw them do it for that one two or three times... and I see them do it for Robin constantly.

This now secured a second week at the top of the Urban AC chart. It's doing extraordinarily well there with over 2,000 spins and over 24M in audience impressions. With all that, it's still the second greatest gainer.
At Urban, it currently sits at #12 and is the second greatest gainer on that chart as well.
