This is amazing to watch, whether you're a fan if her's or not. She is breaking trends, records and stereotypes. This song literally has no beat, and it's #1. Incredible.

She also now has more #1's in the US than she does in her home country.

Rolling In The Deep didn't go #1 in the UK? Nope. It peaked at #2. Wow that's surprising. Who blocked it?

Wow that's surprising. Who blocked it? I don't remember. I'm sure it was more popular than whatever was at #1 though! bellboys will remember who blocked probably

Amazed that this is already #1. I just hope it can sustain it for a while...the song deserves a long run at the top.

Good for Adele. What a year she's having. So glad this song hit #1. I think this will have a multi-week #1 run, but it might be broken up by MLJ for a week or two.

I hope she can get a few more from the album. "Set Fire To The Rain" is the only #1-sounding song left on the album. If she performs it at the Grammys, and timing is likely there, I could see it being another #1. I think "Turning Tables" is a hit too, but more of an "only" Top 10 type hit.

Yeah, "Set Fire to the Rain" sounds like a number one, "Turning Tables" and "Rumour Has It" would probably be successful as well.

This song is nice but I thnk her hype is realy pushing this. If this song came from anyone else it wouldnt even be top 40 right now.

Congrats Adele! It's all getting too easy, isn't it? This is just an identikit happening to The Brits. One stripped back performance amid all the madness, no fancy dancers, no gimmicks, and it's straight to #1. Amazingly, SFTTR is now #27 on US iTunes so that's clearly going to be the next smash. And STILL she seems so down to earth, humble and loveable. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTukkKqws30&feature=related

Amazingly, SFTTR is now #27 on US iTunes so that's clearly going to be the next smash. In a way it's not a good thing that SFTTR is selling so much now. Those are sales that are eating into it's totals for when it becomes a single. It's going to affect its peak.

"21" is this generation's "Tapestry." I feel like this album compares better to it than other big-time female albums like "Jagged Little Pill" and "Come Away With Me," based on its chart performance, the type of music and the fact that it ran counter to what was popular at the time. And I think people have connected to Adele the way they connected to Carole King back in the 70s. She was someone who you thought was singing directly to you, that could be your friend. Alanis, she was a little more out there and radical, whereas you just appreciated the laid-back relax feeling of Norah Jones. Plus, Norah only had a hand in writing a few songs from that album.

SLY predictably down to #2 on the Hot100 this week. But in true Adele fashion SLY is powering back to #1 on iTunes kworb.net/pop/And check out today's radio update: 16. ADELE - Someone Like You: 61.205 (+ 3.346) I somehow think there will be other weeks at #1 on the Hot100 coming up in the not too distant future!

I have a feeling this might resemble "Bleeding Love"'s Hot 100 run.

Billboard had a note that said this is the only song in Hot 100 history to get to #1 that only features a singer and a piano. I think that's a fascinating stat.
