I have a feeling this going to be my summer 2010 song. It's infectious and makes for a great driving song.

^ It did have the potential to be an event. Instead what we got what crap. Everything always has potential, and this song combined two artists known for creating great tracks. Clearly, they managed to bring out the worst in each other rather than the best.

Well the P!nk one sure as hell doesn't sound like it, although I reckon you could say it's unexpectedly bad.

Not impressed at all. She sounds good, but the song's a mess and even her part really isn't that great.

P!nk may not be the name that Rihanna is these days, but I agree that it would feel more like an event. Rihanna certainly has become the hook ho of late, so it's not exactly a OMG moment, even though a Rihanna/Eminem collab sounds interesting. P!nk, on the other hand, hasn't been featured on a song since "Lady Marmalade," and hasn't done this genre in a decade as previously pointed out.
When all is said and done, ya I'm curious to hear the Rihanna feature...but I'm excited to hear the P!nk song, and obviously I'm not alone in this.

I think you guys are completely missing what made "Bulletproof" a hit: the easy-to-shout-along-with chorus. When you're in a club or in a car, it's almost impossible not to sing along when the song gets to the chorus. I love "Fembot" and all, but it doesn't have that same appeal and I'm sorry, but it's not tailored for the U.S. at all - give me one example of a song on the radio now that has anything resembling those elements that would lead you to believe that "Fembot" would fit in at radio.

For everyone who initially hated, but then came around on, "Tik Tok" - here's your 2010 version.

I'm not surprised they're going with the Rihanna feature. She's as much a hitmaker as Justin Timberlake at this point.

Because there's nothing like an Orianthi!?!?! feature to ensure a hit?

He's changed up the song quite a bit for his recent live performances. I'm loving it; definitely wouldn't mind if he recorded this version for his debut album.

You know, if she manages to get a hit single (HA), I think this would make a decent follow up. Yes, it's a mess, but it's also weirdly catchy.

I hope people rip into her unoriginal concept the way they did X-tina. They won't. GaGa's at the top of her game, X-tina isn't. People will praise her for doing a Madonna tribute.

If she'd recorded this and released it as a single, there isn't a cat in a hell's chance this would've missed #1.

And I think that's the problem. Everyone knows who Christina is, but the media doesn't give a rat's ass about her because she's bloody boring, and this extends to the general population as well. The last time she got written about was when she made her comment about not knowing if Lady GaGa was a man or a woman.
I don't think it's impossible for her to get a hit - she is still a name and isn't trying to start from scratch - but she needs something that she just hasn't been able to come up with because she has her head so far up her own ass: a hit song. I know that's what they were going for with NMT, but it just didn't work. If she wants to get her career off life support (without pulling the plug completely, that is), IMO she needs to think about working with Max Martin and/or Dr. Luke. If they can adapt to P!nk's style, I don't see why they couldn't produce a hit for Xtina without compromising her "values."

I like the production, but they couldn't have redone her vocals? They sound way too auto-tuned for the slowed down style. It sounds amateurish because of it.

This reminds me of why I liked him so much when he first came out. Very nice song.

"Pocketful of Sunshine" was amazing. This isn't. I could see it maybe going Top 10,

Debut single from the AI winner, and yes, it's a U2 cover.

I love the production on this. I'm slowly working through the album, and this is the only song so far where I've gone "ooh, this is good."

This is solid, although I'm not convinced I like the change up at the end.
