I actually really liked "Black Box" - it was solid for an Idol winner's debut single. I'm not sold on this, I wish Tedder would try something new.

I don't think you can really compare the run of "Telephone" to anything else. The song blew up the second it leaked, and then went for adds four months later. Its run on iTunes was all over the map because of it.

I have to say, I've enjoyed a lot of his recent stuff - his song with Ciara was insanely hot. I'm definitely interested.

I hate this song. I really do. It's one of my least favourite Madonna singles.

Meh. Both of the other songs were far more interesting.

Part of the problem is that they really haven't promo'd the song though. At all. Nobody knows the song is out - it's not getting radio play because no one is requesting it, and they aren't doing any promo that makes people want to hear it again. And she's not Britney Spears - people are not attached to her in the same way so she needs a hot song and promo to get attention; she won't get airplay based on name alone. Yes people still know who she is, but we've seen how well that works for J.Lo (who has actually had more solo Hot 100 #1s than Xtina).

I think you guys are overselling "Fembot." The song is hot and makes for an amazing album track, but I can not see that making headway on radio. It's too quirky.

I love both songs, but I reckon "Kiss N Tell" would make a stronger single.

That's enough to ensure I do my best to avoid this like the plague.

This isn't bad. I could definitely see it being a hit.

Ya, I don't think it's impossible that he'll stick around. He's got a heavier media presence than pretty much any other Idol contestant this long after their season - even Kelly and Carrie aren't in the trades as often as he is.

The body paint is HOT. Much better than the pure trash look of her previous performances.

I remember reading an article that compared the Britney vs Xtina thing with Madonna vs Cyndi Lauper and how in both cases the latter were more "talented"(vocal-wise) than the former yet the less "talented" singer became far more important and successful. I reckon that's actually a perfect comparison. And it's interesting to think that Lauper and Aguilera's biggest hits were ones that easily could've been handed to their contemporary with little to no changes.

FIFA World Cup single.
This is HOT - the production reminds me a lot of the FIFA remix of Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie" from four years ago.

At least it's getting released somewhere. I still can't believe they're going with "Rockstar 101."

They're both hot, but unfortunately I'm inclined to agree that this isn't going to be a hit. If radio wanted to play it, they would've started to already, and continually pushing it back is turning it into a joke.

Bubbling Under? That's pretty much inexcusable for a lead single from an artist of her renown.
