I don't hate the video. Some of it is really good, but a lot of it goes way too far; it's just a little too much.
Although, I do have to give her props for doing something Katy Perry couldn't do and actually kissing a girl.

"Waka Waka" is actually a good enough song, but the name drives me nuts every time I see it.

I like this. It isn't amazing, but it's solid.

Here's the video from Idol. The performance is fantastic up until Rascal Flatts dude joins in. WTF. Who the HELL thought that was a good idea?

Destiny's Child was pretty mainstream - yes Urban people probably gravitate toward her a little more naturally, but Pop radio and its listeners know who she is. She's an unknown as a solo artist, but she isn't a nobody.

Not bad at all. Could see it being a mid-sized hit, maybe even cracking Top 20.

I think this might be my favourite Shania song. She's done a hell of a lot of great tracks, but this one seriously gets to me. The lyrics are touching and her voice is haunting (and of course beautiful as always).

This is damn hot. WLTO is unquestionably the better song, IMO, but this is fiyah.

I could easily see this being 2010's "Don't Trust Me." It's not amazing, but it's a decent track. I'll probably hate it by June.

"Written All Over My Face" is the only other song that really sounds like a hit on the record, but it's another Script reject, so I'm not entirely convinced it would make a good choice. "Heartless" is different enough from the original that it wouldn't be an awful choice.
This is nice, but a terrible single choice.

This is the love song from the upcoming Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time film, starring Jake Gyllenhaal.
From the clip I heard, it (unsurprisingly) sounds more like a "I See You" than a "My Heart Will Go On and On and On and On."

This is incredibly uninspired. I'm not sure if it's just because I don't listen to Country music much anymore, but I really found Play On to be underwhelming. "Unapologize" is the only song that did anything for me, when all is said and done.

I wouldn't mind will.i.am with a Shock Value-type record. Some of his stuff with Cheryl Cole on her last record was amazing, and "Photographs" is solid. But I can't see myself enjoying another straight up solo record from him again.

^ There's nothing else on the record that comes close to "Rude Boy." When all is said and done, that's the only song from the record that will be remembered by the general public in a couple of years. It's not that the song needs to make a statement. I just don't find it that fun or catchy.

I like this, but it barely gets a reaction at the club. "I Gotta Feeling" and, to a lesser extent, "Boom Boom Pow" still have people going crazy.

I wish she was doing more dance-oriented stuff. I fully believe (pun intended) that she's capable of another "Believe," but I doubt the rock sound will do it for her.

Rascal Flatts on this? That is gonna be a hot mess. They're not going to be on this. Their just performing their own song on the same episode that Shakira performs this. That is not at all what the quote said: Flatts will perform their current single, Unstoppable, then sing with Shakira on her song Gypsy.

It's okay, but way to cash in on Swift's popularity. I didn't have a problem with this as an album track, but sending it to radio kind of feels like he's selling out a bit.
