I think this is WAY more current than "What If," not to mention catchier. Plus it will have a WAY higher marketing budget since it will be the current single at the time of the album release.

New lead single. This is leaving the Hot AC sound behind and going a more Alternative route.
It's okay. The chorus is pretty catchy.

This is ok.
Everyone is quick to call this so different, but it sounds like the type of song Missy Elliott used to get hits with all the time in the early 00's except with a more updated beat (but still of the same style). Anyone else hear resemblance to songs like "Get Ur Freak On" or "Work It"?

The video theme doesn't match the feel of the song.

I think this will peak in the mid 20's. I think this might do better than the first single. Its lyrics give the "Just the Way You Are" syndrome which makes slow/bland songs blow up thanks to the female audience. Plus that whistle really does make this a lot catchier than it would be otherwise.

This is pleasant but I can't get into it too much. It's just too plain.

I thought the next single was going to be a remix duet with Bruno Mars?
Also I'm assuming that HITS article is referring to the Pop chart and not the Hot 100?

This is off his new album. It's getting a great response from fans and is listed as a highlight in album reviews. #44 on iTunes (the lead single is nowhere ) I love this!

apparently a remix is coming tomorrow? source is unreliable tho Luckily that now seems like a rumor. GOOD! I don't need Pitbull on this song.

Another whistle song lol
This is decent. Actually I could see it being a hit. It has lyrics that girls will love plus the whistle thing.
I just don't think he's a good singer.

I agree with this. I just think this song is so tuneless. Also I really hope country-pop isn't the next place Pop radio goes to

Ok, just listened.
This is a FLOP. Damn I can't even believe this got the green light to be released. It sounds so sloppy and second rate.

This is a nice song and she's clearly talented. But I have no interest in this type of song and don't think most younger people would either.
Sounds like an Urban AC hit. Parts of the instrumental remind me of "Finally" by Brandy.

Another good week. MOST ADDED at Hot AC with 15 adds. Tied Most Added at Pop with 16 adds. Could this UK flop end up being bigger than "For the First Time" in the US?

"Dreamkilla" seems like the one with most radio potential to me. It's one of the few that caught me on first listen.

I think there's two ways of looking at their success. On one hand, they haven't had a huge hit since 1999 and their semi-hits in the early 00's like "Here Is Gone" and "Better Days" should have been much bigger if they weren't so watered down. And their peaks at radio are only smaller and smaller. Matchbox 20 can still get Top 5 Hot AC hits when/if they put out music but GGD can't.
On the other hand, they can still scrape the Top 20 of Hot AC no matter what! Not many can.
